Bio:

I remember, when I was small, I would take my dad’s camera out with me on long hikes. I would try to capture the small or the interesting things around me. I haven’t ever stopped. Travel and nature photography continues to be a passion I indulge in. I attempt to capture colors and textures, people and landscapes that remind me of how I felt while I was there. The world is an amazing place, with beauty and stories hiding in unlikely places.

These photos are from Ecuador, Peru and Tibet. Traveling for school and not for pleasure (although even if it was for educational purposes it would be a lie to say it was not, ultimately, for pleasure) lets you see the world in a way you won’t as a tourist. I am glad for my time in these countries and grateful to the people who made me welcome there. I hope, now that I am out of school, that I will still find ways to get out of my skin and can be submerged in another culture in a place far and away.
